Rhondda Youth Forum
The last six months have been very productive for the Rhondda Youth Forum. As well as completing their normal duties the members have worked energetically to set up a new website specifically aimed at giving young people an insight into local, national and international political issues.
The decide4yourself site gives:
- opportunities for on line discussions
- information about young people’s rights
- information about political history
- links to resources available to young people
- links to politicians
To launch the website, the Forum visited Parliament as a guest of local M.P. Chris Bryant. After a tour of the House, Chris met with the group and answered questions from the forum about issues concerning the young people of the Rhondda. Video and photographs of the day are on the website.
