Several of the girls from the Young Mums Project in Caerphilly came on an outing to Llancaiach Fawr Manor. The babies were placed in a mobile crèche while the girls time-travelled back to the era of the Civil War. In view of their own experiences, they were horrified to discover such facts as that no doctor was present during child-birth. Instead, he shouted his authoritative instructions through the door, never having actually witnessed a birth. Such details made them glad to be mothers now, and they celebrated the joy they have in their children by making digital stories about them.
