A Welsh Music and Rugby Heritage Project by Griffithstown Youth Centre
This project was split into two parts.
The first part was spent at Cardiff Rugby Club where we produced paintings of the club’s current players.
The second part was spent at Griffithstown Youth Centre.
"Before we met Jon and Sally, the artists who we worked with on the project, we researched and discussed as a group what 'Welsh Heritage' means to us. Music and rugby were the two main themes which came out of our group talks, so we decided to create artwork which would best reflect these two topics. We’ve created paintings of Welsh musicians and rugby players of today and yesterday".
