Cwmbran Centre for Young People (CCYP)
Working with Helen Clifford the artist leading our project, we developed the idea of making baby blankets and flashcards. As a group we wanted to explore the themes of heritage and culture but still with a focus on our children.
We visited St Fagans to view traditional quilts and blankets and spent several weeks producing our own baby blankets. During this time we learnt and developed many new skills such as design and sewing as well as ICT skills.
