A Textile Project by Coleg Ceredigion’s Access to Further Education Course in Aberystwyth
Young people from the Access to Further Education Course spent three months creating a textile wall-hanging for the On Common Ground project. The project contrasted the different ways in which the people of Ceredigion lived one hundred years ago and the way that we live today.
The young people were able to bring to life the history and culture of the area in which they live through their own research work and through trips to Llywernog Silver-Lead Mining Museum and Ceredigion Museum.
